MERRIMACK – Superintendent of Schools, Mark E. McLaughlin, has announced registration information for all Merrimack children entering public kindergarten and first grade in the 2021-2022 school year.

The registration process will begin with parents completing a New Student Information Entry Form, which can be found on the District’s website (www.sau26.org). Parents will return the form, along with specified documents, to their neighborhood school beginning Jan. 20 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. At that time, additional information will be provided regarding the Merrimack School District’s online registration procedures.

In order to be eligible for kindergarten registration, your child needs to be five years old by Sept. 30, 2021. Incoming first graders need to be six years old by Sept. 30, 2021.

If your child currently attends kindergarten in the Merrimack School District, you do not need to register for first grade.
