WMUR’s annual NH Tackles Hunger food drive, which benefits communities all over the Granite State, will kick off the annual event with a back to school special at 7 p.m. Aug. 17.

Although WMUR will not be collecting food as they traditionally have, a variety of locations will be taking part.

In seven years, “NH Tackles Hunger” has collected 455,000 pounds of food, which equals 380,000 meals for New Hampshire families. Right now, the need is greater than ever.
