Nashua Area Artists’ Association online fundraiser will run through end of June

By Staff | Jun 13, 2020

NASHUA – The Nashua Area Artists Association is going to host an online silent auction fundraiser using the Facebook platform.

Artists of various mediums have generously donated work to help support the organization’s financial needs during the time that the gallery hours and activities, and possible future activities, have been put on hold.

In the spirit of community, the artists suggested that we donate a portion of our proceeds to the NH Food Bank. We understand that our organization is not the only one struggling and that people are without jobs and money are having a hard time putting food on the table, especially during the pandemic. We hope that the money raised will help support the NH Food Bank in their mission of feeding the hungry. The NAAA recognizes the importance of work done by the NH Food Bank.

The online silent auction/fundraiser started June 8 at : https://www.facebook.com/Nashua-Area-Artists-Fundraiser-Page-103189364764282

The Fundraiser will run through June, or until all donated artwork/gift cards are gone.

Art items will be put up on auction, where patrons can place a bid, or “buy it now.” Winners will then be invoiced, make payments and arrange a time for contactless pickup at our gallery, ArtHub at 107 W. Pearl St. in Nashua.

Thank you to the artists who have donated their artwork for this fundraiser: Susan King, Debbie Auclair, Madeline LaRose, Marilene Sawaf, Chris Bower, Kathleen Meighan, Lauren Alana Jewelry, Tina Gagnon, Barbara Lester, Carla Sullivan and Carmen Verdi.

For more information or to donate art or a local business gift card please contact Lauren at NaaaMembership@gmail.com

The Nashua Area Artists Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1951. Our mission is to promote the arts and artists in our area.
