Several events planned at Hudson library

By Staff | May 16, 2020

HUDSON – The Rodgers Memorial Library is offering exciting virtual events in the coming weeks.

In addition to its weekly story times and dance party for kids, virtual tours of zoos and museums and more, the library has some special events for adults, too.

At 7 p.m. on May 28, Steve Hale from Open World Explorers will be giving a presentation on Backyard Birds featuring common and likely resident and migrant visitors to any backyard in New England. Tips on feeding birds to attract the most diversity also will be provided.

There will be online fitness classes at 11:30 a.m. Thursday May 21 and May 28. Jess Salman will be teaching a chair yoga, balance and arthritic movement class. All participants need is a sturdy chair and optional light weights and a small ball. A pint of liquid weighs a pound, so you can use that or other household items as weights.

Learn to Zentangle at 7 p.m. on May 27. You can use supplies you have at home, pencils, cardstock or folded copy paper, ball point pens, gel pens or even sharpies.
