Festivities reported online for the Halloween holiday include some local school and community traditions, one of which is the Jacques Memorial School Parade on Oct. 30, an annual tradition wherein students from the school, 9 Elm St., promenade around the nearby Milford Oval, usually accompanied by the high school band, during school hours with the start of parade organization at 1:15 p.m., parade launch at 1:30 and a return to the school around 1:45 p.m., time enough for spectators to ooh and ahh as ghouls and boys dressed in costume display their favorites.
