NASHUA – The Nash Casino presented nearly $1.8 million in combined contributions to 10 New Hampshire nonprofit organizations on Feb. 24.

This donation was accumulated from the combined revenues generated throughout January by games of chance, historical horse racing machines and video lottery terminals. During the first 11 months of operations, The Nash generated an unprecedented $17.3 million for New Hampshire nonprofits.

In December 2025, The Nash began offering five-day weeks to partnering nonprofits, down from seven days, in order to significantly increase the number of nonprofits served.

“Whether it’s keeping our communities safe, ensuring families don’t have to worry about where their next meal is coming from or supporting the arts, The Nash Casino is proud to be a community partner to so many worthy organizations with impactful missions,” said General Manager Eric Althaus.

The receiving organizations are as follows:

Michele Sheppard, CEO of The Granite YMCA, said the funds will support and increase their mission impact.

“We are incredibly grateful to The Nash for supporting The Granite YMCA and nonprofits across the state,” Sheppard said. “These funds will help to provide financial assistance, so more individuals have access to YMCA programs.”

Sheppard said the funds will provide more campers the opportunity to attend summer day camp and overnight camp, provide more preschoolers with a full year of high-quality child care, support working families with low-cost or no-cost access to a YMCA membership and support future leaders in child care through programs that help them build workforce skills, confidence and a pathway to long-term success in the child care field.

“During a time of economic turmoil and shrinking grant opportunities, The Nash provides a bedrock of stability,” said Actorsingers President Phillip Laks. “We’d like to extend a tremendous thank you to The Nash for everything they’ve done for us.”
