Massachusetts man charged with theft

NASHUA – Jerrod Lee, 33, of Taunton, Mass., was taken into custody on Dec. 18 in connection with alleged fraudulent transactions at two Home Goods stores.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on June 6, 2024, TJX Companies, which owns Home Goods, alerted officers about the thefts. At the time, TJX told police that on May 18 and June 4, 2024, Lee returned two rugs using stolen price tags.
During the transactions, he provided his real identification and an alias identification. As a result, was allegedly able to obtain a store credit for $3,898.
Lee has been charged with theft by deception.
He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Feb. 2, 2026.
Under state law, if convicted, Lee could face up to 22 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
