NASHUA – This year’s Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua’s Bids for Kids Holiday Auction brought the community together once again–not just to raise funds, but to celebrate the young people whose stories embody the mission of the club.
The night’s most powerful moments came directly from club youth. Seven-year-old Yamiah opened the evening with confidence and joy, reminding attendees why the Club’s work matters.
Later, Tiana Brown, a 2025 Club, State and Regional Youth of the Year and a National finalist, shared how the club shaped her journey from a shy young member to a collegiate track athlete and nursing student at Endicott College. Her message underscored what so many families know firsthand: when kids have a safe place, strong mentors and consistent opportunities, they flourish.
“Our community showed up in a big way for our kids,” said Executive Director Craig Fitzgerald. “Every bid, every sponsorship and every act of generosity ensures we can keep opening doors for young people who count on this club every day.”
Funds raised through the event directly support the club’s year-round programs in academic success, leadership development, career readiness, and health and wellness. These resources ensure thousands of local young people continue to have a safe environment to learn and grow.
Auction Chairwoman Beth Kreick echoed her appreciation for the outpouring of support.
“This community has a remarkable way of rallying around our kids,” she said. “The success of this year’s auction is a testament to how deeply people believe in giving young people the chance to reach their full potential.”
