Massachusetts woman charged with fraudulent bank transaction

NASHUA – Sentra Louis, 27, of Dorchester, Mass., was taken into custody on Oct. 13 in connection with a 2022 incident at Merrimack County Savings Bank.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on May 27, 2022, officers received a fraud report from the bank. After further investigation, Louis was identified as the suspect.
She has been charged with attempted theft by deception in excess of $1,500 and forgery.
Louis was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Oct. 18.
Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to 22 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
