City man faces four counts of theft

NASHUA – Ulysses McMillan, 39, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Sept. 3 on a felony warrant charging him with theft.
According to the Nashua Police Department, from July 23 to Aug. 22, officers received several reports of thefts at businesses including Marshall’s, the Sunglass Hut and the New Hampshire Liquor Store. After reviewing video surveillance, police identified McMillan as the suspect.
He has been charged with three counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer with two prior convictions and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in excess of $1,500.
McMillan was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Oct. 29.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 36 years in prison, up to 20 years of probation and up to $16,000 in fines.
