City man charged with burglary

NASHUA – Richard Damico, 26, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Dec. 16 in connection with a burglary which reportedly happened last summer.

According to the Nashua Police Department, on Aug. 31, officers responded to the Bella Variety store at 29 Chestnut St. They were told that Damico used a rock to smash the glass in the front door to gain entry into the business. Damico left the scene before police arrived.

He was later identified using surveillance video and charged with burglary.

Damico was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Jan. 14, 2026.

Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
