Alleged bank robber arrested in Londonderry

LONDONDERRY – Jean Gendron, 61, of Cherryville, N.C., was taken into custody on Aug. 7 in connection with a bank robbery.
According to the Londonderry Police Department, officers were notified by the Westbrook, Maine Police Department that Gendron was on a Concord Coach bus headed for Londonderry.
Gendron was arrested without incident when he got off the bus at 3:30 p.m.
He has been charged with being a fugitive from justice.
Gendron was held without bail and was arraigned in Derry District Court. He waived extradition to Maine and will be held at the Rockingham County Jail.
