Hudson man faces numerous charges stemming from CSAM investigation

HUDSON – Sean Sauder, 39, of Hudson, was taken into custody on Jan. 2 on more than a dozen charges involving child sexual abuse material.

According to the Hudson Police Department, officers received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about child sexual abuse material being accessed in town. Working with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, police were later able to identify Sauder as their suspect.

He has been charged with 11 counts of possession of child sexual abuse images, distribution of child sexual abuse images and manufacturing child sexual abuse images.

Sauder was arraigned in Nashua District Court on Jan. 5 and is scheduled to appear for a probable cause hearing on Jan. 13.

Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 210 years in prison, up to 60 years of probation and up to $48,000 in fines.
