PELHAM – The Pelham Police Department will be hosting a free Rape Aggression Defense class for women next month.

The class is designed to empower women through self-defense, risk awareness and risk avoidance. The RAD class is a three-night course and will be held on Aug. 4, Aug. 7 and Aug. 11. Classes will be held from 6-10 p.m. at the Pelham Police Department, 14 Village Green in Pelham. Participants must attend all three classes to receive a participation certificate.
