Hudson Police charge man with burglary

HUDSON – Eliezer Rosario-Medina, 26, was taken into custody on June 18 for allegedly burglarizing a house that is under construction.
According to the Hudson Police Department, a construction worker who was at the scene told officers that Rosario-Medina entered the unoccupied home through the basement at approximately 12:30 a.m. The worker also told police that Rosario-Medina was seen sifting through construction materials.
Rosario-Medina reportedly left the scene before officers arrived. He was located a short time later, placed under arrest and charged with burglary.
Rosario-Medina was held on preventative detention bail pending his arraignment on June 20.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
