City man arrested following knife fight

NASHUA – Craig Coulombe, 51, of Nashua, was taken into custody on June 17 for an alleged knife assault.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to Spring Street and were told that Coulombe and another individual were being treated at a local hospital for injuries sustained in a knife fight.
Detectives later determined that Coulombe initiated the confrontation and have charged him with second degree assault with a deadly weapon.
Under state law, if convicted, Coulombe could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Coulombe was held without bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court on June 17.
