HUDSON – Brooke Pfaff, 44, of Nashua, was taken into custody on May 20 following a five-mile police chase from Hudson to Nashua.

According to the Hudson Police Department, officers located Pfaff’s Volkswagen Tiguan at the intersection of Lowell Road at Executive Drive shortly after 8 a.m.

Following an unsuccessful attempt by police to stop the vehicle, Pfaff continued travelling north on Lowell Road and reportedly passed several vehicles in a no passing zone.

Officers again tried to apprehend Pfaff when she encountered traffic in Nottingham Square on Lowell Road. However, she managed to evade police for a second time.

Pfaff then allegedly struck another vehicle at the intersection of Lowell Road and Central Street. She began driving west on Central Street and crossed over the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge into Nashua. Pfaff ultimately stopped her vehicle in the parking lot of Bishop Guertin High School and was placed under arrest.

Pfaff has been charged with four counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, conduct after an accident, disobeying an officer and aggravated DWI.

Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to 31 years in prison, up to 20 years of probation, up to $22,000 in fines and having her driver’s license suspended for up to two years.

Pfaff was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 21.
