NASHUA – Sebastian Lopez, 29, of Lowell, Mass., was taken into custody on April 24 in connection with a road rage incident last November.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to the incident at the Tobacco Barn at 15 Spit Brook Rd. on Nov. 12, 2024.

Two victims allegedly told police that Lopez nearly backed into their vehicle in the parking lot. They said they also beeped their horn to avoid a collision. However, that prompted Lopez to get out of his vehicle and reportedly point a knife at the victims. He then allegedly used the knife to puncture one of the victims’ tires.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division continued the investigation and charged Lopez with two counts of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.

Lopez was released on a $300 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 18.

Under state law, if convicted, Lopez could face up to 23 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $10,000 in fines.
