Police nab two men suspected of selling false Apple products

NASHUA – Massimiliano Tarallo, 32, and Vincenzo Solombrini, 34, both of Naples, Italy, were taken into custody on April 3 for allegedly selling fake Apple products.

According to the Nashua Police Department, on March 6, a victim, whose identity has not been released, reported that he had purchased Apple products from one of the suspects, only to later discover that the products were fake.

On April 3, the victim told police that the suspects were again trying to sell him fake Apple products. Officers with the Problem Oriented Policing Unit located Tarallo and Solombrini and reportedly identified them as suspects in the prior incident.

Tarallo has been charged with two counts of theft by deception. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.

Solombrini has been charged with two counts of theft by deception of more than $1,500 and disobeying an officer. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 31 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $10,000 in fines.

Tarallo and Solombrini were both held on preventative detention and appeared in Nashua District Court on April 4. They were both issued cash bails of $10,000 at their arraignments.
