Nashua Fire Rescue announces five promotions

NASHUA – The following members of Nashua Fire Rescue received promotions on March 9.
Eric Tremblay was promoted to assistant fire chief. Tremblay has been with Nashua Fire Rescue since 1999 and will now oversee the Emergency Services Division.
Nathan Armstrong was promoted deputy fire chief. Armstrong was hired in May 2001 and was assigned as the captain of the Lake Street Community Fire Station serving on both the Dive Team and Hazardous Materials Team. Armstrong will now assume the role of shift commander.
Patrick Nelson was promoted to captain. Nelson was hired in May 2001 was assigned as the shift management technician serving on both the Dive Team and Hazardous Materials Team. Nelson will now serve as the captain of the Lake Street Community Fire Station.
Keith Belanger was promoted to lieutenant. Belanger has served Nashua Fire Rescue since 1999. He was assigned for several years to the Lake Street Community Fire Station as the operator of Ladder 2 and as a member of the Hazardous Materials Team.
Robert Dungan was promoted to lieutenant. Dungan joined Nashua Fire Rescue in 2012 after serving his country as an U.S. Army Ranger. Dungan is a member of the Dive Team, the Hazardous Materials Team and the Peer Support Team. In his new role, Dungan will be assigned to the Training Division effective May 4.
