NASHUA – New Hampshire’s largest charitable gaming facility, the Nash Casino, is looking to hire staff managers, supervisors, chefs and other food and beverage team members for its 101-seat, full-service Woodlands Café.
This newly-unveiled restaurant concept will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and feature a walk-up coffee counter with La Colombe Coffee and a bakery case which will serve fresh baked cookies, muffins, loaves and desserts. The Nash Casino is also hiring for two other restaurant concepts, including a fine dining restaurant, both of which will be unveiled at a later date.
“The opportunities available at The Nash and its restaurants are a great way to start a new career in hospitality or to take your career to the next level,” said casino General Manager Eric Althaus.
Anyone interested in joining the restaurant teams or applying for other positions, such as security officers, gaming technicians, dealers, cage cashiers, marketing positions and more are invited to attend the upcoming career fair at the Courtyard by Marriott’s Event Center at 2200 Southwood Dr. in Nashua. The career fair is open to all general applicants and walk-ins are welcome.
The career fair will be held on Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Applicants who are unable to attend one of the career fairs are encouraged to visit The Nash Casino Information Center on the lower level of the Pheasant Lane Mall near Target or online at www.thenashcasino.com/careers.
Currently under construction at the former Sears building at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua by parent company ECL Entertainment, the Nash is hiring to fill 600 to 700 career-launching jobs, contributing $22 million annually in payroll and related costs.
The Nash is anticipated to open this winter. When complete, it will be the largest charitable gaming venue in New Hampshire, representing a nearly $250 million investment into the city of Nashua and approximately $24 million in annual contributions for more than 100 New Hampshire-based nonprofits. The venue will feature three unique restaurant concepts, a two-story sports entertainment complex with two full bars, assorted non-gambling games and a wide variety of table games and Historical Horse Racing machines.
