Law named Citizen of the Year by Nashua Chamber

NASHUA – Brian Law, president and CEO of the Law Family Companies, recently became the third member of his family to be named Citizen of the Year by the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce.
His grandfather, George Law, was honored in 1972 and his father, Jack Law, received the commendation in 2009.
Over the years, Law has served on the Board of Directors of the Nashua Airport Authority, Edgewood Cemetery, the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua and the New Hampshire Motor Transport Association. He is also a graduate of the chamber’s inaugural Leadership Greater Nashua class of 1995.
As a member of the Nashua Rotary Club for 25 years, Law stepped up to lead the organization as its president on two occasions.
Together with his wife Lisa, Law has supported a number of initiatives, most notably for the Nashua Center for the Arts. These efforts were recognized two years ago when Law received the coveted Business Leader of the Year Award from the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce.
As president and CEO of the Law Family Companies, Law has created hundreds of jobs for Greater Nashua residents. Law’s seven companies have also provided financial support to multiple nonprofit organizations including The Front Door Agency, Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter as well as the YMCA of Greater Nashua.
Law joins an elite group of 82 individuals who have been recognized for excellence in philanthropy since 1945. Prior recipients include Edward Lecius, Richard Lannan, Helen Honorow and William Barry.
