HUDSON – The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado died following a collision with the driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe at the intersection of Rt. 111 and Park Avenue on the morning of Sept. 15.

The drivers’ identities have not been released at this time.

Upon arriving at the scene at 8:30 a.m., Hudson firefighters began working to free the driver of the Silverado and provide life-saving care. The driver was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

According to Hudson Police, the preliminary investigation suggests that the driver of the Silverado was turning left onto Park Avenue from Rt. 111. The driver of the Tahoe, who was not injured, allegedly disregarded the traffic light and struck the Silverado. The impact caused both vehicles to go off the road.

According to police, it does not appear that drugs and alcohol were involved in the crash, which remains under investigation. Any witnesses are asked to contact Officer Tyler Tambouris at 603-886-6011.
