LONDONDERRY — Nearly 100 years of automotive history was on display at this year’s Classic Car Show hosted on July 20 by the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire.

The vehicles on display ranged from a 1928 Ford Model A all the way up to contemporary muscle and show cars.

“We’re delighted that our annual Classic Car Show has grown into one of the region’s largest annual gatherings of classic and contemporary show vehicles,” said Jeffrey Rapsis, the museum’s executive director. “We’re located directly adjacent to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, so our grounds are a great place for vehicle enthusiasts to gather and enjoy a great summer day celebrating automotive history.”

Sponsored by Primary Bank, the event attracted more than 750 visitors and featured 170 cars.

The car show is also a fundraiser for the non-profit Aviation Museum. This year’s event raised more than $5,000 to support the museum’s programming.

The winner of the People’s Choice trophy, voted by other show entrants, was a sleek 1967 Chevrolet Camaro owned by Henry Rouix of Manchester.

The Museum Choice trophy, voted by museum officials, went to a restored 1969 Plymouth Barracuda owned by Al Heavey of Londonderry.
