NASHUA — Triangle Credit Union, partnering with the Regional Economic Development Center, Service Corps of Retired Executives, Small Business Association and Small Business Development Centers recently hosted a business connection event for local Spanish business owners.

“This was a great first step for us and all the organizations involved in this effort; this was an incredible opportunity for all the business owners,” said Rania Abi Farah, a commercial banking business development officer at Triangle Credit Union. “We hope this is the first of many for our Latino businesses.”

During the event, business owners networked with each other and the participating organizations to discuss business plans and growth goals. Throughout the evening, the participating organizations presented resources to assist and educate the business owners on improving growth and profitability and lending and credit options.

Thanks to the Latino employees who donated their time, the audience was very engaged throughout the event. It helped build a sense of community as everyone was able to connect and felt comfortable communicating with the other businesses and volunteers.
