Two taken to hospital following Londonderry crash

LONDONDERRY — Two individuals were taken to the hospital following a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Rt. 102 and Mohawk Drive on May 19.

The victims’ identities and conditions have not been released.

Upon arrival at 12:26 p.m., firefighters with Londonderry Fire Engine 2 found the driver of the motorcycle laying on the road.

According to Londonderry Fire, the motorcycle collided with a car, causing several other injuries. One victim was severely injured while another victim was trapped in the car.

Emergency crews from Derry, Windham and Hudson also responded to the scene.

The initial police investigation suggested that the car was traveling north on Mohawk Drive and was turning onto Rt. 102 when it collided with the motorcycle which was reportedly traveling east.

No additional information was available as the crash remains under investigation.
