Nashua Fire Rescue announces relocation of administration and Fire Marshal’s Office
NASHUA – Fire Chief Steven Buxton recently announced the upcoming relocation of Nashua Fire Rescue’s administrative offices and the Nashua Fire Marshal’s Office to better serve the community.
Effective Jan. 22, Fire Administration will operate at 177 Lake St., housing the fire chief,
assistant fire chiefs and deputy fire chiefs.
On the same date, the Fire Marshal’s Office will move to 70 East Hollis St. to accommodate the
fire marshal and all fire investigators/inspectors. Additionally, all permits will be issued at the
new East Hollis Street location.
To facilitate these moves, Fire Administration and the Fire Marshal’s Office will be closed to the
public from Jan. 17-19.
This strategic relocation is in response to the continued growth within Nashua Fire Rescue over
recent years. Notably, Fire Administration is set to welcome a second assistant fire chief to
oversee professional standards within the department. In the past year, the Fire Marshal’s
Office expanded its investigative/inspection capabilities by promoting a third Investigator/Inspector.
Nashua Fire Rescue remains committed to providing exemplary service and ensuring the safety
of the community. During the relocation period, all inquiries for Fire Administration or the Fire
Marshal’s Office can be directed to Nashua Fire Alarm at 603-594-3636.
