City announces street closures ahead of Winter Holiday Stroll

NASHUA – The city has announced the list of street closures for this year’s Winter Holiday Stroll on Nov. 25 from 4 – 9 p.m.

Cars must be moved off Main Street by 2 p.m. on Nov. 25. Cars that remain on the closed streets will be towed.

-There will be no parking on Orange Street between Lowell and Lock streets starting at 2 p.m.

-There will be no parking on West Pearl Street between Elm to Main streets starting at 2pm.

The following roads will be closed starting at 2 p.m.:

-Main Street between West Hollis and Amherst streets

-Eldridge Street between Main and Spring streets

-West Pearl Street between Main and Elm streets

-East Pearl Street between Main and Spring streets

-High Street between Main Street and the entrance to the Bank of America lot

-Factory Street between Main and Mechanic streets

-Water Street between Main Street and the entrance to French Renaissance Park

-Temple Street between Main and Spring streets

-Court Street

-Church Street between Court Street and Hartshorn Avenue

-Park Street

-Pearson Avenue

-Franklin Street between Main and Front streets

-Clinton Avenue and Railroad Square

These closures will remain in effect until at least midnight to allow for sweeping and cleaning.

Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service, provided by the Nashua Transit System and First Student, available at the following locations:

-Holman Stadium with continuous service running from 3 – 9:30 p.m. and dropping off at the top of Clinton Street near Library Hill. All buses are ADA compliant.

-Memorial Hall at Rivier University with continuous service from 3 – 10 p.m. dropping off near the Transit Center on Garden Street behind the Santander Bank lot.

Free parking options include:

-Nashua Public Library lot accessed via Cottage Street

-Elm Street Parking Garage

-High Street Parking Garage

-Mechanic Street lot

-French Renaissance Park lot

-Spring Street lot

-Maple Street lot

-School Street lot
