Special display Saturday at Nashua’s ArtHub
NASHUA – Sanjeev Nandan will be showing his paintings at the ArtHub this month, with a reception set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Nandan is a self-taught artist, originally from India, now settled in Andover, Massachusetts.
As a kid growing up in India, he mostly dabbled in watercolors. There wasn’t much in terms of guidance, but he got a lot of encouragement. Eventually, at the age of 18, he started experimenting with acrylics and was quickly drawn to its versatility. He came to the United States in 2000, and with a full-time job at hand, it wasn’t easy to dedicate time to his passion. Slowly and steadily he built a small collection called Dance and Music.
Aside from painting, he works with software. He loves computer-aided graphics, 3D modeling and animation, yet another self-driven adventure.
He lives in Andover with his wife and daughter, who shares his passion for art.
The ArtHub gallery is located at 107 W. Pearl St. in Nashua. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday through Sunday.
