Indictments for several area residents
Among them, charges for rape, child porn possession and assault
NASHUA – Men and women who allegedly committed crimes as recently as mid-January and as far back as 2013 were indicted this week by the grand jury for the February term of Hillsborough County Superior Court-South.
An indictment is not an indication, or proof of, guilt, but represents the Grand Jury’s determination that enough evidence exists for prosecutors to move the case forward in Superior Court.
The indictment of Joshua Hansen, 43, of 69 Kinsley St. on one count each of aggravated felonious sexual assault, a special felony, and felonious sexual assault, a felony, stems from allegations he knowingly touched a child under age 13 “for the purpose of sexual arousal or gratification” on July 1, 2013, in Nashua.
An indictment on a felony charge of burglary accuses Hansen of unlawfully entering a Nashua residence with the purpose to commit theft on Oct. 13, 2013, while two additional indictments – one for armed robbery, a felony, and robbery, a felony – accuse Hansen of putting a person “in fear of the immediate use of physical force” by committing a theft while armed with a knife on Oct. 24, 2015, in Nashua.
Allegations that Brian Hayward, 33, of no fixed address, Nashua, committed “third-strike” theft on Jan. 22 in Nashua resulted in the indictment on the most recent accusations.
