Photos of your neighbors are on display at the Nashua Public Library

By Staff | Oct 2, 2021

The NPL Art Gallery is open, after a year and half hiatus. Visit an exhibit that was originally presented in February 2018, which will be on view until Oct. 31.

Long-time Nashuans and newcomers to the city are showcased in portrait format alongside their powerful personal stories.

Nashua is the most diverse city in New Hampshire. After a series of conversations about this fact, Greg Indruk and Lauren Osowski created the Nashua Neighbors Photography Project.

Osowski, director of adult education at the Adult Learning Center said, “Our city is home to people from many different countries, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Although each person has a different story, we are the same in so many ways, and we become stronger as a community when we take the time to learn about each other.” Osowski conducted the interviews for this project.

Indruk, who has been friends with Osowski since high school, took the stunning photos for this exhibit.

Stop by the Art Gallery any time that the library is open. NPL is located at 2 Court Street, Nashua. For directions and parking information go to www.nashualibrary.org/visit/directions. For other information contact Holly at holly.klump@nashualibrary.org or 603-589-4633.
