City man charged with attacking infant son
NASHUA - Drew Babcock, 36, of Nashua, was taken into custody on March 13 for allegedly attacking his three-month-old son multiple times. According to the Nashua Police Department, officers received a letter from the state Division of Children, Youth and Families which stated that the infant had been physically abused and suffered more than 30 fractured bones. The baby remains hospitalized with serious but nonlife-threatening injuries. Doctors have also reported that the boy has not gained any weight since February. Babcock allegedly told police that he punched his son in the back to get him to stop crying, claiming the baby was colicky. He also admitted to lying on the baby.
