United Way to host annual Kevin Slattery Memorial Food Drive on June 8-9
NASHUA – Thirteen food pantries in Nashua and surrounding towns will receive a generous influx of food donations during the first week of June, thanks to the United Way of Greater Nashua’s annual Kevin Slattery Memorial Food Drive. This event, held in memory of long-time United Way board member Kevin Slattery, will take place on June 8-9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 10 local stores on both days. "Kevin was passionate about addressing food insecurity and homelessness," said Michael Apfelberg, president of United Way of Greater Nashua. "This food drive is a testament to his legacy and our ongoing commitment to supporting the community." The United Way of Greater Nashua aims to enlist 100 volunteers to ensure the drive's success.
