Allan Joseph Bogusz

Allan Joseph Bogusz, 86 of Nashua, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 23, 2026, following a valiant four-year battle with bladder cancer. He faced his illness with remarkable strength, determination, and grace, inspiring those around him with his resilience and unwavering spirit.

Allan was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, December 12, 1939, to the late John Henry and Helen (Zaremba) Bogusz. He graduated from William L. Dickinson High School before pursuing his passion for electronics at RCA Institutes in New York City. His education laid the foundation for a distinguished and fulfilling career with the Federal Aviation Administration, where he dedicated more than 35 years to a profession, that he found both challenging and rewarding.

Allan was deeply devoted to those he loved and cherished every moment spent with family and friends. Curious by nature and always eager to learn, he approached life with enthusiasm and an open mind. Whether he was researching the stock market and pursuing his lifelong passion for investing, tending to his garden, proudly sharing its blooms and harvest with visitors, or exploring a new interest, Allan found great joy in learning, growing, and embracing new experiences.

Allan also had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and took pride in teaching his children the value of hard work, determination, and customer service. He brought the first hot dog stand to Nashua, Al’s Doghouse, creating an opportunity for his children to learn firsthand what it meant to build and operate a small business. The lessons he taught through that experience remained with them throughout their lives.

Allan spent his retirement learning the fine art of relaxation and splitting time between Lake Winnipesaukee and North Port, Florida. Allan built lasting friendships through the activities he loved most. He took great pleasure in bringing people together, by organizing a tai chi class for friends and coordinating Sunday morning bike rides (the Sleazy Riders) that often concluded with breakfast and lively conversation. These gatherings reflected his generous spirit and his gift for creating community wherever he went. Allan also spent many years volunteering for the NH Special Olympics.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Grace Bogusz, whose love, and partnership were among the greatest joys of his life. Allan was also predeceased by his siblings, Mary, Irene, and John.

Allan, is survived by his children, Anthony Damanti of Tilton, Rosemarie Bogusz-Lajoie and her husband David of Nashua, Camille Bogusz of Nashua, Karen Neglia and her husband Charles of Massapequa, NY, Helen Wilson and her husband Dennis of Amherst, Grace Laliberte and her husband Gary of Amherst, and John Bogusz of Amherst, his five grandchildren Sean Neglia and his wife Jayde, Dennis Wilson and his wife Katie, Richard Bogusz and his partner J Casale, Nicholas Wilson, and Grace Marie Laliberte, a great-grandson, Oakley, all who will carry forward his legacy of love, perseverance, and devotion to family. Allan was excited about the expected arrival of his first great-granddaughter in November.

Allan’s family would like to extend their deep gratitude to Home Health and Hospice for their outstanding care of Allan, especially his nurses, Kimberly and Meghan.

Family and friends are invited to Allan’s visitation on, Monday, September 28, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley St, Nashua. A service will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Nashua, NH. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua.
