Massachusetts couple recall terror at Sky Meadow
NASHUA - It has been more than a month since gunfire broke out at Sky Meadow Country Club and Brianna Surette of Georgetown, Mass. is just starting to get her life back. According to recent interviews with WMUR and WBZ, she and her husband, Doug Surette, were married at Sky Meadow on Sept. 19, 2020. For the first time getting married, they returned to the country club on Sept. 20 to celebrate their five-year anniversary. The couple’s evening of tranquil romance was shattered when alleged shooter Hunter Nadeau barged into Prime at Sky Meadow and pointed his gun at them. Brianna said Doug instinctively threw himself across the table to shield her. “He’s just a really great person and a great husband,” she said.
