Light snow is a prelude to the big one this weekend
Light snow that’s going to fall on New England is just a prelude to the big one this weekend.
The National Weather Service says a clipper-style storm that moves through the region on Friday could drop 1 to 2 inches of snow.
But a bigger storm is looming for the weekend.
Meteorologist Tom Hawley said as much as 2 feet of snow could fall across parts of Maine and New Hampshire from Sunday through Monday morning.
The nor’easter will be affecting much of the Northeast. Airlines were allowing passengers to change flights because of projected fight cancellations.
