Michael “Mike” Levesque
Michael “Mike” Levesque, age 74 passed away peacefully in The Villages, FL on May 7th, 2024, with his wife and daughters by his side. Mike was a lifelong resident of Nashua, NH who retired to Meredith, NH and wintered in The Villages, FL. Mike was happiest on beautiful sunny days and when enjoying the outdoors. You could always find him playing golf, pickleball, skiing, water volleyball, water skiing, hiking or on a long bike ride with the local bike club. He even accomplished ten marathons with the Gate City Striders and ran to the top of Mount Washington. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren on his boat on Lake Winnipesaukee.
He was born in Nashua, NH to Leo and Georgette Levesque. He graduated with a master’s degree from Rivier University and undergraduate from Keene State College. He began his career as a Respiratory Therapist then spent most of his career in R&D at Nashua Corporation and later in Quality Control at Stonyfield Yogurt.
Mike was a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Pauline of 51 years and his two daughters Kari Blanchette and her husband Kevin Blanchette of Manchester, NH and Lauren McKeown and her husband Patrick McKeown of Farmington, CT. He was a beloved “Peppy” to grandchildren Natalie and Gavin. He is also survived by sisters Suzanne and Marie Levesque. He is fondly remembered by his in laws, Richard and Diane Bibeau, Michael and Denise Yanuskevich and nieces and nephews Megan Ebba, Ross Bibeau, Erin Corcoran, Katie Yanuskevich and many dear friends. He is also pre-deceased by in laws, Raymond and Mary Lou Bibeau. Funeral services are planned Friday July 19th at 11am at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Meredith, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or St. Charles Borromeo “Got Lunch” program.
