With difficult pin locations and pristine green conditions, the best players rose to the challenge to position themselves for round 2 of the Nashua City Golf Championship on Sunday at Sky Meadow Country Club. Noah LeClair and Scott George are currently tied at the top with stellar rounds of 3 under par.

LeClair, a Nashua junior member said, “After a rough start on one, the birdies on three and five really settled me down. It was a solid round.”

DJ Petropulos will join Noah and Scott in round 2 via an even par 71 during round one.

In the senior division, Steve Lane and Bill Hermann carded respectable 76’s. Danny Joyal finished with a 77 and will join the co-leaders in the final group for that division. 

With temperatures set to reach triple digits tomorrow, players will certainly earn the right to take home the John B. Wollen trophy this year.
