Chris Sununu's State of the State address Thursday. Boehm had reportedly regained consciousness when medical personnal arrived, and was transported to a local hospital.

CONCORD — Republican state Rep. Ralph Boehm, a longtime Litchfield resident in his 7th term representing the town as one of two Hillsborough District 20 legislators, collapsed shortly before 11 a.m. today during Gov. Chris Sununu’s annual State of the State address.

Several fellow representatives sitting or standing near Boehm rushed to his side as he fell to the floor, according to reports.

They encircled Boehm as he lay on the floor while awaiting the arrival of paramedics. They were on the scene in minutes, and administered first aid before placing Boehm onto a stretcher and placing him in the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Boehm was said to be conscious as he was being wheeled to the ambulance.

Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
