DURHAM — The University of New Hampshire basketball program, led by fourth-year head coach Nathan Davis, announced the non-conference portion of the 2026-27 schedule on Friday.

The six home games include the home opener vs. Sacred Heart University on Sunday, Nov. 8 as well as visits by Ivy League schools Dartmouth College and Harvard University.

The 10 non-conference road games include trips to a pair of Big East teams, another from the ACC, and ends with a trip to Iowa State University, which had a 29-8 record, advanced to the Big 12 semifinals and the NCAA Sweet 16 last season.

New Hampshire tips off the season Nov. 2 at Brown University and then plays Nov. 5 at Rider University.

The Wildcats play back-to-back home games against Sacred Heart (Nov. 8) and Thomas College (Nov. 11).

UNH begins a stretch of five consecutive road games Nov. 15 at Boston College for the first matchup between these programs since the Wildcats prevailed 74-71 in overtime on Dec. 6, 2022.

The ‘Cats travel for a midweek matchup at Stonehill College on Nov. 18 and are back on the road Nov. 21 at New Haven. Up next is Seton Hall, a team that won 21 games a year ago and advanced to the Big East semifinals.

The road swing ends Nov. 29 at College of the Holy Cross to mark the Wildcats’ first trip to Worcester since November 2022. UNH has won five of the last seven meetings in this series, but the Crusaders won the most recent head-to-head battle, 74-72, at Brown.

New Hampshire welcomes Ivy League foes Harvard (Dec. 2), a team that posted 17 wins and advanced to the league semifinals, and Dartmouth (Dec. 12) to Lundholm Gym. In between, the ‘Cats are at Boston University – another 17-win team in 2025-26 – on Dec. 5 and go to Big East school Marquette University on Dec. 9.

UNH wraps up the home portion of the non-conference schedule with games Dec. 20 against Manhattan and Dec. 22 vs. Fairfield University, a team that advanced to the ’26 MAAC semifinals and won 21 games.

New Hampshire ends the 2026 calendar year with its second trip in program history to Ames, Iowa to tip off against Iowa State on Dec. 29. The Cyclones were 85-70 victors Dec. 31, 2023.
