Nashua’s Tyler Doveno, 29, was the top local runner in the 130th running of the Boston Marathon on Monday, according to the times found on the Boston Athletic Association website.

Meanwhile, Amherst’s Jane Leighton, 26, a Souhegan and University of Vermont alum/runner, was the area’s top woman finisher, coming in at 2:48.17 good for 104th overall among women.

Doveno, a Nashua South alum and former UMass Lowell cross country runner, ran the race from starting line to finish line (listed as net time)in two hours, 31 minutes and 56 seconds (2:31:56). That was good for 398th overall. Locally, he was just ahead of Nashua’s Thomas Cantara, age 35, finishing 508th overall.
