ROOKIE REPEAT: Rivier’s Bryda wins fifth MASCAC honor

NASHUA — First-year Chloe Bryda was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player and Rookie of the Week for the third consecutive time and her fifth time being recognized this season, following a three-point performance, the conference announced Tuesday morning.
Bryda opened the weekend series with Framingham St., lighting the lamp twice, including netting the game-winning goal, on Friday, Feb. 13, 3-2 win. The Cumberland, R.I. native rounded out the weekend with an assist on the game-tying goal by first-year Marina Bassett, in the 2-1 win over the Rams.
