Three local youths competing in Amateur MMA World Championships

Three standout athletes from New Hampshire are representing Team USA at the 2025 U15 Pankration & Amateur MMA World Championships, hosted by United World Wrestling (UWW) — the largest wrestling organization in the world. The international competition will take place in Loutraki, Greece today, Thursday and Friday.
Representing Karasu Tengu Academy (KTA) in Nashua, these competitors have traveled overseas to compete against the best young athletes from around the globe. Each nation is allowed to send only three athletes per weight class, underscoring the elite level of talent represented by this New Hampshire trio.
Local Team USA Representatives
Walter Cotito Jr. of Nashua is a proven competitor and decorated multi-sport athlete. In 2025, he captured both the Gamma Youth National and World Championships in Brazil and is also a NAGA BJJ Champion. A dominant force on the mat, he is a four-time New Hampshire Youth State Wrestling Champion and a Youth New England Runner-Up. Walter Jr. trains in Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, MMA, and Striking at Karasu Tengu Academy (KTA) in Nashua, and continues to refine his wrestling skills at Red Roots Wrestling Club in Reading, Mass.
Victor Lomme (Brookline), a sophomore at Hollis Brookline High School, is a dedicated multi-sport athlete with an impressive record that includes four New Hampshire State Championships at both the youth and high school levels, Wrestling All-American honors, and New England youth placements. He studies Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, MMA, and Striking at Karasu Tengu Academy and continues to sharpen his wrestling at Smitty’s Wrestling Barn in Kingston, N.H. Victor remains undefeated in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition.
Also, Autumn Provost of Weare is a 2025 Gamma Youth National Champion in Youth MMA and bronze medalist at the 2025 World Championships in Brazil, Autumn trains extensively in Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, MMA, and Striking at Karasu Tengu Academy whose programs are led by owner and head coach Walter Cotito Senior, who has built one of the most respected martial arts programs in the region.
About the Event
The 2025 U15 Pankration & Amateur MMA World Championships, sanctioned by United World Wrestling, brings together the world’s top youth martial artists to compete in both ancient and modern disciplines of combat sport.
Teams from across the globe — including Greece, Italy, India, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Ukraine, Armenia, and many more — will gather to compete for international titles. The event emphasizes sportsmanship, international unity, and technical excellence.
