BRISTOL, R.I. – Rivier men’s lacrosse graduate attackman Michael Ference was selected to represent the program on the national stage in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III Senior All-Star Game slated to be played Friday at Bayside Field on the campus of Roger Williams University.

Ference, one of the most decorated players in Rivier history, is the lone representative of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). He was named the GNAC Offensive Player of the Year earlier this month following a spectacular campaign which led the Raiders to their first GNAC title. Rivier went on to defeat Maine Maritime in its NCAA Championship First Round game at home as Ference tallied six goals and three assists. The squad bowed out of the national tournament with a Second Round loss to No. 8 Bowdoin.

Ference led the conference with 52 assists to go along with 29 goals to earn the recognition as the league’s top offensive player. Ference sits atop the Rivier record books in three offensive categories, points (370), goals (188), and assists (182).
