NASHUA – Rivier women’s basketball graduate student Lyric Grumblatt was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for the third time this season, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

Grumblatt put together a pair of stellar performances in home GNAC competitions to boost the Raiders to a 2-0 week.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, Grumblatt scored 25 points and snagged 13 rebounds in an 84-61 win over Colby-Sawyer before dropping 30 points and bringing in 14 boards on Senior Day (Feb. 15) in a 95-62 victory over Dean.

Overall, she averaged a double-double with 27.5 points per game and 13.5 rebounds per game and shot 42.2% from the field, including 38.5% from three-point range. Additionally, she tacked on 6.5 assists per game and 5.5 steals per game.

Grumblatt and the Raiders will travel south to face Mitchell today with a 5 p.m. tip-off scheduled at the Yarnall Athletic Center.
