NASHUA — Don’t look now, but the Nashua Eagles are flying high.
The International Soccer Club of Nashua’s pro team is now 5-2-1 in the United Premiere Soccer League’s New England Division after Saturday night’s 6-3 win over US Hartford Athletic at Rivier University’s Joanne Merrill Field.
Not only that, but the Eagles’ six goals is a team record in a UPSL game.
Nashua was led by Jordan Misiri’s two goals, while other goal scorers were Bryce Borletto-McCray, Sam Latona, Babak Bakhtiari and Aiden Bagley.
Nashua is at Worcester next Saturday at 8 p.m. The Eagles have been coached the last three years by Eusebio Marote, and he and Zelanes have put together an ultra-competitive roster.
“Eusebio is doing a phenomenal job,” Zelanes said.
