Nashua’s Hogan resigns as UNH women’s basketball coach

By Staff Reports - | Mar 27, 2024

DURHAM — Former Nashua High School North standout Kelsey Hogan has stepped down as the University of New Hampshire women’s head basketball coach, the school announced this afternoon.

Hogan, who was named Wildcats interim coach in March of 2020 and then permanent head coach in August of that year, had teams that struggled during her tenure, going 28-77 over four seasons. She has been with the UNH program as a player or coach since 2008.

Hogan had a stellar playing career at both North (1,032 points) and UNH (1,181). Shortly after graduating from UNH in 2014 she joined then coach Maureen Magarity as an assistant, was promoted to associate head coach in 2019 and then took over the program when Magarity left to take the head job at Holy Cross.
