Horn’s seven saves enable Raiders to tie Westfield, 0-0

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore goalkeeper Noah Horn made seven saves to record his first career shutout as Rivier men’s soccer played Westfield State to a scoreless tie on Thursday night at Alumni Field.
Rivier (0-2-1) outshot the 1-1-1 Owls, 20-14, while putting eight shots on target. The Raiders also led the corner kicks category, 9-5.
The Raiders will play at the friendly confines of Merrill Field for the first time in 2023 on Saturday when they host Mitchell in their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opener at 3:00 p.m., as part of Youth Soccer Day.
