In the first half, the Raiders (6-7-3, 2-7-2 GNAC) took Joanne Merrill field in a hungry manner with valiant efforts from the vocal seniors here on Senior Night. The Raiders continuously ramped up the pressure as the first half went on, although both teams finished the half scoreless.

With only 4 minutes left in the contest, Faynstein once again broke through coverage in the midfield and delivered a laser to put the Lasers up 2-0.
