The successful local high school baseball season that produced one state champion (Hollis Brookline), three state semifinalists and eight teams qualifying for their respective divisions’ state tournaments also has produced a plethora of players receiving All-State honors via the New Hampshire Baseball Coaches Association (NHBCA).

Locally, Nashua South’s River Hart and Hollis Brookline’s Padge Mac Seain were named the Division I and II Players of the Year, respectively.

Souhegan’s Kyan Bagshaw was the Division II Pitcher of the Year.

Hart had a dynamic season, hitting over .500 with 25 stolen bases, while Mac Seain pitched HB to the Division II title.

Local coaches cleaned up as well. Nashua South coach James Gaj was the Division I Coach of the Year, while in Division II two local coaches shared the Bill Dod Award: HB’s James Sartell and Milford’s Todd Robichaud. Wilton-Lyndeborough’s Tom Brennan was named the Division IV Coach of the Year. Sartell guided the Cavs to the state title, Gaj had his best South team in his tenure after a young team struggled a year ago; Robichaud’s Milford team went winless for nearly the first half of the season and recovered to make the tournament, and Brennan’s WLC team came within one big hit of reaching the Division IV title game.

In Division II, locals included Hollis Brookline’s Mac Seain, Charles Hale, Milford’s Jake Lammi, Souhegan ‘s Bagshaw and Nolan Colby (First Team); HB’s Torin White and Alex Razzaboni, Milford’s Damian Philbrick, plus Souhegan’s Keegan Burke, Brandon Dufor and Teddy Katsel (Second Team); and Hollis Brookline’s Jack Lager and Zakery Lussier, Milford’s Logan Howard, plus Souhegan’s Colin Burke and Hayden Goerlich (Third Team).

In Division III, Campbell had Ryan Latsha (First Team), Jack Kidwell (Second Team) and Garret Arnold (Third Team). In Division IV, Wilton’s Troy and Sean Brennan were First Teamers, and Ty Bacci made Third Team.
